It was a warm summer day in Fedual Japan and the group of InuYasha were walking a long a very large road in search of Shikon Jewel Shards.
"I'm so tired" A girl with brown hair in a high ponytail, with hazel eyes complained.
"I am as well, InuYasha. Can we rest a bit?" A man said, he had black hair in a short ponytail, with brown eyes.
"You humans are so weak" InuYasha said, he had silver hair and golden eyes, claws, fang and had two cute white dog ears on top of his head.
He turned to look at Kagome, she usually would have something to say about him calling humans weak. But, she looked like she didn't even care, that worried him. Kagome had black long raven hair that went down to her behind and bron eyes.
The others also noticed this but decided they wouldn't say anything, for fear to start another argument between InuYasha and Kagome.
"We will stop here then" InuYasha said, he ploped down beside a tree and watched Kagome sit down staring into space, it was ticking him off because she would talk to anyone.
After an hour of fed up attempts to get Kagome to speak by the others, InuYasha thought he should try. He got right into her face, she didn't even move.
"Kagome" InuYasha said, she didn't answer the others watched closly.
"Hey Earth to Kagome make me some supper" InuYasha said, waving his hands in front of her face.
He started poking her in the shoulder, then her face and then her rib, nothing she didn't even flinch.
"What is wrong with her?" InuYasha said, the others had concerned looks on their faces.
"Kagome make me some supper now" InuYasha yelled, still she never did anything. InuYasah was mad now and started shaking Kagome very hard.
"KAGOME MAKE ME MY SUPPER NOW" InuYasha yelled.
Kagome pushed him off her and stood up through her back pack at him.
"Make it yourself" Kagome said coldly and walked away.
Everyone stared at her in shock she was never like this not even when she was upset, and she never layed a hand on InuYasha something was deffently wrong.
"InuYasha what did you do?" Miroku asked.
"I never did anything except see Kikyo when she asked me to help her I said I was going to see Kikyo" InuYasha said.
Miroku and Sango looked at him with 'your so stupid' looks on.
"But, that isn't enough to get her that mad" InuYasha defended.
"InuYasha can I tell you something?" Sango asked, he nodded.
"Do you understand how it feels to be in love?" Sango continued, InuYasha nodded again.
"Kagome is in love with you, she told me she also said she was sick and tired of always being refered to as Kikyos recarnation. She hates it when people say " Kikyo was much pretter or she is stronger, Kikyo this and Kikyo that, Kagome is her own person she is not and I repeat SHE IS NOT Kikyo she doesn't even look or act like Kikyo, and she sure as hell is stronger" Sango yelled.
InuYasha looked at Sango shocked, Kagome loved him. But, what about Kikyo, he had to find Kagome.
InuYasha ran after were Kagome had left to leaving a sighing Sango and Miroku.
"So how long do you think it will be until he confesses he loves her?" Sango said.
"Twenty minutes"Miroku replied.
InuYasha ran as fast as he could and found Kagome he hid in a bush watching her.
Kagome had a arrow notched and aimed it towards a tree.
"This is for me believing that I was worth something" Kagome said and shot the arrow with sacred power towards the
tree, it hit and destroyed it.
"This is for thinking I could be strong" Kagome said and shot another arrow destroying the tree.
"This is for trying to be something when I am a reincarnation" Kagome yelled and shot another arrow destroying the tree.
"This is for coming to this world and trying to make a difference" Kagome said and shot the arrow again destroying eleven trees.
InuYasha sat there and watched as Kagome destroyed the trees getting sadder and sadder.
"This is for everyone I hate" Kagome said and destroyed 10 trees.
"For Naraku, who hurt all my friends, for Kagura who slayed Koga's comrads, for Kanna who tired to steal my soul, for Urasue who brought Kikyo back to life, For Kaguya who made me gave me my first kiss, for mistress centipede who brought me to this world" Kagome screamed shooting arrows for everyone.
"And for Kikyo, who has a heart as black which my repuration is comfigured as a heartless person, for all the time I spent trying to save you, for you stealing my soul, for coming back to life, for stealing the jewel shards and giving it to Naraku, for trying to drag InuYasha to hell, for walking this Earth once again, for screwing up any chance I had to help InuYasha love again, and to heal his heart. For being your reincarnation, for looking like you, same powers as you, being your DOUBLE" Kagome screamed, and destroted hundereds of trees and awaking demons.
InuYasha saw how many demons were there but didn't move those words froze him, he watched in amazment as Kagome dogged all the demons and destroyed them all.
"I am not weak" Kagome said destroying some demons.
"I am my own person" She yelled, destroying more.
"I am not a double" Kagome yelled again, destroying almost all the demons.
"I am me not some look alike YOU HEAR ME I AM MY OWN PERSON" Kagome screamed and blasted a huge amout of energy at the demons they cried in pain as she destroyed everyone of them.
InuYasha froze at the spot taking in everything she had said, he couldn't believe this Kagome was hurt, but he did love Kagome but he didn't love Kikyo just owed her his life.
"This is for thinking inuyasha loved m..." Kagome put down her bow and arrow and fell to her knee's. "I love him but why can't I just tell him... I am so afraid that he won't feel the same way." Kagome started to cry. "I have to go home"
Inuyasha is sill stunned. she loves me two?
Kagome starts to walk away.
Inuyasha runs from in the bushes "Kagome wait!!" grabs her rist
"What are you doing here? Go away.I give up. You don't have to stay with me any more kikyo can be my re-place ment. Even through it will hurt me not to see you agan. If that is what you wan't then.. You probably think that I am just a bug flying arround you and kikyo. I am such a tarrabel persson.." Kagome eyes filled with tears.
"Don't say that!!" yelled inyasha
"What do you want me to say? What more do you need. I will go.! Kagome yelled back
"Don't go back. Not with out me." hugs kagome "I can't leave without you. I need you don't you under stand that.I love you"
"Inuyasha"hugs inuyasha back."I love you two but I was afrai---"
InuYasha cut her off" I know I was there when you were destroying all of those trees"
"You were there. Please say that you didn't here all thoes hateful things that I said."
"Don't worry I wwont love you any less no matter what you say." said inuyasha
kagome"really?"
"yes" inuyasha replied.
"lets go back to camp. I will made you dinner."
"ok... hop on you must be tired from killing all thoes demons."
"I little."kagome replied
After kagome is asleep
"inuyasha." sango called inuyasha"come here"
inuaysha walks over
"ok you know what to do next time next you see kikyo? right" sango tells to inuyasha
*kagome opends her eyes but pretends to be asleep
"Ya don't go running after her"inuyasha replied
"But I o her my life? What should I do?"
"you dont o kikyo any part of your life. You own it to kagome or relicing you from that tree.?" said sango in frustration
"ya but.."
"who do you love more choose know. do you hear me K-N-O-W" Sango said ina clear voice.
"shut up I hear you."inuyasha said scraching his ears
"then choose"
"ki... kagome"
"Will then, and just one more thing be a little more kind to kagome will you? She gets hurt when you are so mean and playing "mr.mocho" said sango
"you are one to talk. you always slap Miroku" inuaysha said
sango is flamming as she pushes inuyasha beside kagome's bed.
"Know go to sleep"said sango as she goes off mumbling
inuyasha slips in to kagomes bed beside her.
Kagome thinks I love him and I will stay with him as long as he wants me to.
inuyasha raps him arm arround kagome as long as I am with kagome I will be happy.
chapter 3
sunday mourning
kagome opends her eyes: of ya I am with inuyasha kagome turns arround and tuches inuyasha's face he slowly opends his eyes
Oh sorry did Iwake you?" asked kagome
"no" replied inuyasha
"inuyasha?' asked kagome
* mrroku,sango,kirara and shippo are peeking through a hole in the windo*
"
"yes" replied inuyasha
"did you really mean what you said last night about you loved me?"
"ya" hugs kagome
huh "ok......... Ok you go get sango and the others and I
will make some brefast."said kagome
*miroku sango kirara and shippo run back to there hut as fast as they could*
"ok" inuyasha replied
~After brefast~
"ok, were are we going to go today"asked shippo
"I can sence a shard somming from up north."said kagome
"then that's were we are going." said inuyasha
"then lets get going"said miroku as he rubed sango's but
*SLAP*
"and you were getting after me for being mean to kagome" mumbled inuyasha.
*sango is flamming and inuyasha runs and hides behind behind kagome*
~one hour lader~
*inuyasha stops"i smell blood. lots of it"
"lets go!!!" said sango
they reached the top of the hill and were horeified a whole village was destroyed and every one was dead and in the middle of it all was a larg demon
"lets go" said sango as she she started unning down the hill
"ok" said kagome and started again
"no" said inuyasha stoping kagome by grabbing her arm " I cant afowered to loose you"
"but"
"kagome stay here and if there seems to be trubble try and shoot the demon with your arrow. STAY HERE!" inuyasha ran off
"please stay safe... inuyasha" said kagome
Chapter four
*back with inuyasha*
"hahaha, so you came."chuckled Sojinki
"you bastered you lured us here. Well your life ends here! Wind scar!"yelled inuyasha"were did he go?
*Sojinke comes up behind inuyasha and uses his sharp claws and scrackes inuyasha on the back. Inuyasha emedently fell to the ground.
"INUYASHA!! screamed kagome
"so you are the one with the shards."said Sojinki running over.
"Kagome RUN!" said InuYasha trying to get up but failed
*The demon picked up Kagome by the neck.*
"Hirakotsu!" yelled Sango and cut part of of Sojinki's arm that was holding Kagome.
Kagome fell onto the ground uncontious. Then the demon went over to Sango and scratched her, but Miroku blocked it and fell to the ground
"Miroku!" said sango "Don't die!"
*Then the demon walked over to inuaysha and was about to hit him one last time when*
Kagome:inuyasha?* showly picks up her bow and errow and shoots the demon and kills the demon then falls to the ground agan.*
*Lader in the village*
*Sango is sitting beside miroku (who is in bed*
Sango:Please dont die monk.
Miroku: Sango?
Sango: Miroku your awake.
Miroku:are you hurt:
Sango: no... Why did you do that?You could have been killed.
Miroku:Isn't that what love ia allabout?
Sango:*is blushing* ... Get some sleep. And walks out.and smiles
*back with inuyasha and kagome
Inuyasha just came in after getting a bandage on his back.
Inuaysha:Kagome? Are you up?
Kagome:showly opeds her eyes.* inuyasha!!are you alrigt?
Inuyasha:It dosn't matter. What about you?
Kagome:Ya I am fine . *trys to get up but falls.
Inuyasha:*ckeches kagome* Don't hurt your self. Kagome?
Kagome:yes
Inuyasha:thank you for saving me.
Kagome:huh? well you always save me, and besides dont people do that for the ones they love.
Inuyasha:*blushing
Kagome:Inuyasha lets go for a walk.
Inuyasha:But you can't wanlk, I carry you for a while.
*Back with Miroku and sango*
Miroku:Sango? Before you leave, Can I ask you something?
Kikyo:well if you dont mind I am leaving with inuyasha
Inuyasha:Sorry but I can leave kagome.
Kagome:....
kikyo:does she matter more to you then I do?
Inuyasha:....
kikyo:well then it is settled lets go
inuyasha:yes
Kagome:I do inuyasha?
kikyo:what!
Inuyasha:*nods*

Kikyo:inuyasha you are comming to hell with me but not today. I will be back *Dissappers*

Miroku:were do you think inuyasha and kagome went?
Sango:well as long as inuyasha is with kagome no one should get hurt.
Miroku:ya...*stops suddenly* I sence something
Sango:KOHAKU!

Inuyasha: Aaahh lets go *turns arround and starts to walk*
Kagome:inuyasha?
inuyasha: ya
Kagome: never mind *turns arround and starts to walk to*
inuyasha: (is thinking)*what does kikyo mean she will be back? dosn't sound goos though kagome could be in danger. i have to keep my gard up*
Kagome: So what do you want for supper?
inuyasha: umm dosn't matter just dont make it burn my toung like last time.
Kagome: it wasn't that bad
inuyasha:... lets get going

miroku: watch out sango!
sango:huh?
Kohaku: *throws blade at sango*

Kagome: whats that! i sence a jewle shard! lots of them! NARAKU! come inuyasha hurry!
Inuyasha: what! ok *puts kagome on his back*

they reach the top or the hill
kagome: oh no
inuyasha:ahh! *falls to the ground*
Kagome: INUYASHA! SANGO MIROKU KOHAKU! *turns head arround* NARAKU! kikyo?!
Kikyo: you are pethedec kagome. anyone con beat you. and i will be the first!
Kagome:....... you.. you.. framed inuyasha...to love you... how discusting... and you killed me friends.. *fear falls down and hides eyes in hair* this will be your last. kagome wispers angerlay and clenches her bow.
Kikyo: *shoots errow and hits kagome* its over
Kagome: *gets hit in the arm* hump *falls to knees* you think its over huh? *pulls out errow* *pulls errow and shoots*
kikyo: *gets hit* ahh i am not--.. *disappers*
naraku: kiyo! she is not dead... but you will be
Kagome: *blacks out from engeries*
naraku: *picks her up*
Kagome:....
naraku:hahaha
Kagomeahh! *a white light flashes*
naraku:huh *is blown is to a milloin pieces* i am not finshed with you--...!!!
Kagome: everything goes black
inuyasha: *wakes up* KAGOME!
sango: kohaku? miraku? kagome? inuyasha?
Kagome:....
miroku:sango...*slolly gets up*
inuyasha:*runs to kagome and hets angery* kik.. kikyo did this! kagome wake up *shakes her softly*
Sango: *gets up* she went up agenced kikyo and naraku i hope that she is not...
Miroku: kagome's power is draining. if we dont find out how to stop it... she my... not be in this world again.. that errow that kikyo shot, well she is usually pure, kikyo's soul is, but this one was filled with evil and darkness. This is a problem for Kagome since she is a re-incarnation of kikyo and kikyo she turned in-pure and evil. Kagome was shot by the errow of her own self but the evil side. She may not have that much time.
Inuyasha: *dosn't say a word and runs off with kagome*
sango: come on we have to follow them
miroku: no sango... inuyasha wants time alone with lady kagome.. he might loose the only thing he wants to live for. Leave them be
~Back with inuaysha and kagome~
Inuyasha: *stops running and sits with kagome under a tree* i am so sorry kagome.. this is all my fult.. i should have nown.. and protected you with my life.. I know you cant hear me but..but.. pleas just wake up.. there will be nuthing for me to live for..
Kagome:.....
inuyasha: *a tear drips down* dont leane me
Kagome: inu--.. yasha--
inuaysha: kagome!?
kagome:... inuyasha..please forgive me--.. i love yo-.. *takes her last breath*
inuyasha: no kagome wake up!
Kagome:...
Inuyasha: *kissses her* i love you to..
~5 minutes pass~
Inuyasha: *still sitting there*
Kagome: *half oppends eyes* inuyasha?

inuyasha: i thought you were dead?! *hugs her*

sango: they have been away for to long
miroku: if they dont come back soon we should go check it out
shippo: do you think kikyo is dead? what about naraku? is he dead?
miroku: the strenth that kagome fought for lond was more powerful then anthing. She probably did kill them both. but that power for love, because of inuyasha, she hated kikyo... so all will most of that power went agenced kikyo. But how much power Kagome had it probably killed them both. We still have to keep pur eyes open, noone knows what could happen next
sango: *nods*
shippo: i see. . .
~back with inuyasha and kagome~
kagome: -i----.. i. im sorry.. *hugs inuyasha*

sango: so what do we do? naraku is dead what alce were we really going for.
Kagome: we stilll have to look for the shards dont we?

Kagome: *trips on a root and falls into tree.. stands up.. this may be the end? no I am dreaming*
Inuyasha puts blade to kagomes neck* "You wont get away...."
"InuYasha.. stop. *tear falls down cheek* I dont know why I am so afrain *looks up and smiles* of you, even if I am going to die. I know this is not you that i will die in the hands of.I am not afraid you cause I know you love me. *anuther tear falls* maby why I am so scared is cuse the next place I might end up, I wont be with you..."
InuYasha *blank faced eyes are black*
"before do anything to me please lissen." *wispers* " I love you and no one can take that away *kissed him"
*Kagome passes out* "kagome??"inuyasha says. you oka--" she falls to the ground*
Kikyo walks to them"you even protect kagome when you are uncontous"*walks into the forest*
Miroku and song *wake up* ah what was that. where are kagome and inuyasha?
*mean wile*
*shippo and kirara are lost. "where did they go they just disappered. like that" shippo says. "meow" says kirara.. "i wonder where they went. should we go find them?hmm soon if they dont come back
oh there they are
*they run up to them*
"where is inuyasha and kagome?" shippo asked?
"i donno they will find us when they are ready.." said sango. miroku agrees
"Kagome kagome kagome!" please wake up inuyasha thinks as he is holding her in his arms.
*kikyo comes arround the corrner*
"look what you did to her"kikyo giggles
*inuyasha looks at the ground*
"why kikyo.." he says
"because cant you tell?"
"tell what?" inuyasha says
"that this isnt about her.. is its about you and me. many years ago you said you loved me. do you think that someone like me could ever forget that.?"
"...."
" do you even still have thoes feelings for me anymore if it was true thoes words you said... then it shouldnt matter if kagome is here, she is me but with a different soul. and it shouldnt matter if we partter in death. you should still be love, if the love you said and gave to me so long ago." kikyo says
*kikyo walks up to inuyasha kneels down and looks in his eyes*
"..... i --- i --." inuyasha sputters
'kikyo smiles and kisses him on the lips. i will be back. keep in mind tht i still love you."
*inuyasha kisses back* * he thinks to him self..after everything something in side me still loves her after she went with naraku and everything.*
"kikyo wait." says inuyasha
"if you loved me. why did you go with naraku.. and try to kill me"
"because naraku needed to be defeted and the only way is love. he hated and the only way to defete it is by love, i knew you would get through , especially with kagome. she is me ." and kikyo disapears
*inuyasha looks down at kaogome*
*kagome looks up at him then looks away*
"is something wrong inuyasha?"
*he shakes his head and piks her up and walks away*
